I found myself further impressed with you as a coach, Jacob, after reading the letter you sent to Milo. That was a huge effort on your part but so very meaningful. Having been in the teaching profession myself I really appreciated the manner in which you laid out your recognition of effort, growth and commitment. I am without doubt that Milo as well as the other members of the GBS Bobcats experienced a great benefit from the season they spent in your hands. I thank you very much for your time and commitment to my grandson and our students.

I enjoyed watching your sideline enthusiasm while the games were in progress, almost as much as I did the games. Your gestures, call-out coaching and physical illustrations to your players were like nothing I have ever seen in middle school sports. Your heart and mind were truly into every minute of those games, and it made being there and watching a lot of fun for me.
